Make a Kenwood E30-3382-05 Cloning Cable.

This lead allows cloning of programmed data from one radio to another, see below for useage.


2 × 8P8C modular plugs
3 core cable or 3 separate wires to suit (about a meter should do it).


Just connect as shown in the diagram below:
Pin 2 on plug 1 goes to pin 5 on plug 2,
Pin 5 on plug 1 goes to pin 2 on plug 2,
Pin 6 on plug 1 goes to pin 6 on plug 2.
Tha is pins 2 & 5 cross, pin 6 is straight through.

I find that pushing the unused pins (1, 3, 4, 7 & 8) into the plug with a small screwdriver first helps when aligning just a few wires like this.
