Battery Details.

The differences between LR and SR cells:

LR cells are Alkaline Manganese based and have a lower energy density or capacity and are 1.5volts.
SR cells are Silver Oxide based, have a higher energy density or capacity and are 1.55volts.

Do not confuse with the 329, which is also numbered 24.
Do not confuse with these other batteries listed as "39"
341 (39); LR66 (39, 208-39); AD39 (Alldry 39).
Do not confuse with the CR1130 which is virtually the same size but twice the voltage.

Suggested replacement for the discontinued 201.
